There seems to be so much energy around us these days that tries to reinforce the beleif that the end times are here, that we have nothing good to look forward to and that gloom is the new standard.
Fortunately, there are enough of us around that realize this is just the "big guys" trying one last valiant attempt at controlling the masses before they run hiding into their caves like "Puff The Magic Dragon".
Life really is no different today than it ever has been. We still get out of bed each day and go about our business and go back to bed at night. How we do the middle part is still completely up to us. We can buy into the doom and gloom or we can believe that life is the best it ever has been.
Those of us alive today are privileged with being the "test models" for the Aquarian Age. Those of us who are getting "long in the tooth" have had to act as pioneers to the new energy, paving the way for the new generations. I believe that every person alive today has a special gift that is essential to the completion of the transition. Those who are struggling for whatever reason are resisting their inner purpose. Letting go of the need to have control by turning inward is essential.
A big lesson came to me recently. I have struggled for years trying to make my mark in the personal -spiritual development field. I have practiced mysticism for most of my life, become an intuitive healer and in recent years written and published books designed to assist people in their evolution. But I have never really gotten to the place where I wanted to be. Then the lesson hit me. All the work has not been for not. The success came in the form of my daughter's career. She embraced the teachings and lesson I had integrated and has become a very talented Life Skills Counselor.
This is one of the revelations I feel is important for those of us in more seniorly phases of our lives. The Aquarian Age is not about the egoic notion of what greatness can I extoll to the world. It is about believing in your purpose and getting your personal message out there to add fuel to the fire in the crucible. Everytime we speak our truth it enables another person to have the strength and courage to speak up and take action.
The Aquarian Age is about Collective Conscousness. When we offer up sincere questions and thoughts about life in its various stages, we contribute to the mass. We may not find the answer ourselves, but does it really matter as long as the question gets answered?
